The tour is led by Jacques Fouché, the founder of Quo Vadis 4x4 Tours. Jacques is a qualified tour guide registered with the South African Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, bringing a high standard of professional excellence to every expedition. He holds an Honours degree in Physical Education and Sport Psychology, combined with over 20 years of extensive experience exploring remote African wilderness landscapes.
As an experienced 4x4 specialist, Jacques shares his deep practical knowledge with calm, clear instruction, helping guests navigate rugged terrain confidently while keeping the journey fun, safe, and adventurous. For your peace of mind on the trail, Jacques is also fully First Aid certified (Level 1). Beyond his guiding expertise, Jacques is a talented outdoor chef, ensuring that every meal in the bush is as memorable as the scenery.

Had a very peaceful and at the same time exciting holiday with Quo Vadis. Everything went smoothly and the team helped everyone very well. The food was very tasty, beautifully presented every day and everyone enjoyed it. I had enough personal time and it was a good balance for me. Packing was easy because everything is done by them. Jacques is a fantastic tour leader with excellent knowledge that he conveys with great entertainment. You laugh a lot. I look forward to our next adventure.
